That's right! Captain Pineapple is grudgingly back on the blogging scene!
Shaking the dust off the earlier posts and once again shaking my fist at the Html language for its inability to recognise paragraphs and blank lines; I'm back for another Semester of 3D work. This time, however; I've thrown off the shackles of still life and can enter the realms of animation and movement. You realise I can't really hype this much more, can you?
The animation process was, on the whole, pretty simple stuff. Fortunately; I've been doing a lot of work in Flash and can now make some pretty sweet animations from it. Nothing crakcing... but the basics are easy now. Fortunately; 3DS Max has a similar setup; what with its KeyFrames and such. Slightly different interface; but it didn't take long to get into the swing of things and start piecing together basic animations. Basic stuff. Get something; keyframe; MOVE... repeat until dazzled by the awesomeness of high-tech animaiton
3DS Max does, however, lack most of the handy shortcuts and time savers that Flash boasts. As such; things now take 10 times as longer. Great
